PHOTO SAFARI
IN THE BIAłOWIEŻA FOREST AND THE BORECKA FOREST

BUY EXPEDITION:

There are 60 species of mammals, more than half of which are protected. Only here is such a high density of wolves – in the Białowieża Forest we have four packs, in the Borecka Forest two.

Lynxes are numerous in the southern part of the Białowieża forest, there are between 14 and 30 individuals. In the Borecka forest there’s two of them.

The symbol of the Białowieża and the Borecka Forests is the European bison – respectively – over 800 and 120 individuals. And although it is easier to meet them in the meadows, the greatest impression is made by tracking a European bison in the middle of the forest.

Only here you can see all nine species of woodpecker – including the three-toed woodpecker – and rare predators: lesser spotted eagle, white-tailed eagle, short-toed eagle and others.

We invite you for extraordinary photographic journeys through the Białowieża and the Borecka Forests with a local, experienced guide and with the use of a mobile lookout. We provide guidance for all the species above and many more.

LOCATION

We operate throughout the Białowieża Forest. In the northern part mainly for bison and birds migrating through the Siemianówka reservoir, in the central part for wolves and resident birds, and in the southern part for all species of animals.

From the perspective of wildness and low tourist traffic, the most attractive is the southern part of the Forest, near Orzeszkowo and Topiło villages. In this area, we use a mobile lookout from the renowned Stealth Gear company.
